Hugo F. Jameson, 57, former Crawfordsville photographer, who as a young man rode a western pony from Texas to Crawfordsville, died Monday at Galveston, Tx; where he had made his home since leaving here. Mr. James, who was a native of this city, left here about 20 years ago after operating a studio in the 100 block of East Main for a number of years. His parents were Franklin and Alice Baldwin Jameson. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Ellen VanHook of Anderson; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Osborne of Louisville, Ky; and a half-brother, Dave Jameson of Dayton, Ohio. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, followed by burial at Masonic Cemetery. Rev Paul Million of the First Christian Church will be the officiating minister. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Thursday. - transcribed by kbz
